Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Wednesday with a price gap, maintained its strength throughout the day and closed at 5,561.18, up 3.20%. Stocks such as THYAO, SISE and TUPRS, which have a high index weight and are positively affected by the exchange rate movement, supported the index. The Banking Index was up 2.39% and the Industrial Index climbed 2.40%. Expectations that monetary and fiscal policies will normalize with the change in economic management continue to support Borsa İstanbul. We think that the statements to be made and the steps to be taken in the coming period will guide the markets in the medium-long term. Profi-taking pressure is observed in major global stock markets. Yesterday, European and U.S. Indices excluding the Dow Jones ended the day with decreases. This morning, the U.S. and German DAX futures continue their bullish course, while Asian Indices are generally on the rise. The VIX is near 13, indicating low selling pressure and volatility in the U.S. Stock Markets. Domestically, the VIOP-30 Index ended the evening session down 0.53%. After yesterday's rapid rise, the USD/TRY seems calmer this morning, while volatile movements here will remain effective on the BIST. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start the day with a negative trend and thereafter follow a fluctuating course wherein possible rises present profit-taking opportunities. SUPPORT: 5.503 - 5.388 RESISTANCE: 5.609 - 5.705.
