WE EXPECT POSITIVE MOOD TO PREVAIL FOR BIST
" MSCI Asia is down by 0.4% despite a slight positive mood in Chinese markets after China's expression of support in sectors such as steel and auto production to revive slowing economy, other major Asian markets are also down. European futures are slightly negative after yesterday's positive closings and US futures are flattish. We expect positive mood for BIST to continue today.
" The CBRT raised its policy rate by 250 basis points, less than market expectations, to 17.50%. However, it emphasized in the text of the decision that it was decided to continue the tightening process. This made economists think that liquidity reducing measures could take place soon.
" While the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's interest rate decision emphasized selective credit, the decision to increase the daily limit on rediscount loans to TRY1.5bn came aimed at supporting exports.
" According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the mandatory reserve requirement for FX-Protected Deposit accounts was announced as 15% for all maturities.
" Former Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke said the Fed might raise rates for the last time next week.
" Erdogan restated his words to the UN that not to turn their backs and get to know the TRNC as soon as possible.
" Minister of Treasury and Finance Simsek stated that they are committed to getting Turkey removed from the Gray list.
" The United States sanctioned 18 people and dozens of organizations supporting Russia's military and war efforts.
" During the week ending on July 14th, foreign investors purchased US$152.5mn of equities. This has been the fifth consecutive week with net inflows summing up to a total of US$1.48bn
" Information Technologies and Communications Authority advertising is prohibited advertising on Twitter.

AGENDA
" Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz will meet with representatives of the business world at the at Dolmabahce Palace.
" Retail sales will be announced in the UK.
" Presidency's Directorate of Communications announced that on July 25 Palestinian President Abbas and on 28 July Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit Turkey.
" CBRT's 3rd Inflation Report Meeting will be held in Ankara on 27 July.
" Egyptian President Sisi's official visit to Turkey on July 27 is a sign of recovering ties with Egypt and will pave the way to secure a demarcation agreement with Egypt in the eastern Mediterranean in our view. A maritime demarcation agreement can solidify Turkey's presence in the Mediterranean and may also provide an upper hand for gas search. Improved bilateral relations may help BIM markets to grow faster in Egypt, BIM has negligible presence in Egypt currently.

" SUWEN: Company have decided for a buyback program which will allocate TRY120mn for buying back 6mn shares.
" DESA: It was announced that the purchase of facility of 1,896 m² in Italy was confirmed for EUR0.7mn.
" GWIND: It was announced that two separate contracts were signed with 2 different project development companies located in Europe to develop a 300 MW GES project.
" DARDL: Regarding the purchase of 53% shares of TATGD, it was decided to make a Share Purchase offer together with Dardanel Greece, a subsidiary of Niyazi Onen Holding, as 3 partners.
" YEOTK: It was announced that the tender for the turnkey project of the Idliani Gas Insulated Substation was won with 33.6 million dollars, and the share of the company was 80% in the joint venture.
