Mornıng Report (Trive Yatırım Menkul Değerler )

• Despite a positive opening to the day, the BIST succumbed to profit takings, ending the day 0.73% lower with a low turnover of just TRY 66.2bn at its lowest level of the day at 9700.
• The Banks and Mining stocks led the retreat, falling by 2.22% and 2.73%, respectively, whereas the Industrials fell by a slight loss of 0.04%.
• BRSAN-PGSUS and ASTOR were yesterday’s most bought blue-chips, whereas KOZAL-EKGYO and KCHOL were the most sold.
• As of print, the TRY is trading slightly weaker against the USD at 34.08, but is flat against the Euro at 37.63, while the DXY is trading higher at 101.60.
• The 2yr and 10yr Bond Rates both retreated slightly by 1bps and 2bps to close at 40.77% and 28.78%, respectively.
• On the commodity front, Brent is trading lower at $71.44, and ounce GOLD has retreated slightly to $2503.
• The 2yr Bond rates fell by 2bps to 40.77%, while the 10yr rates rose by 3bps to 28.80%.


AGENDA

• On the local front this week, the Unemployment Rate-Industrial Production and Retail Trade figures and CBRT Survey will be disclosed, while the main macro indicator from the US will be the Inflation figures, alongside the Wholesale Stock Figures-Weekly Jobless Claims, while the ECB meeting will be held this week. China will be releasing its Inflation figures as well, and Japan will be releasing its Growth-IP and Capacity Utilization Rates.
• SOKM is expected to release its quarterly results after the BIST closed today.

2Q2024 FINANCIAL RESULTS
• KRVGD: Released a quarterly net loss of TRY 141mn vs TRY -78mn y/y.
CORPORATE
• THYAO: Disclsoed it Auygust passenger numbers yesterday. Accordingly, total passenger count fell by 3.2% to 8.43mn from 8.7mn y/y. Domestic passenger count fell by 6.5% to 3mn from 3.21mn, as its domestic airlines subsidiary, A jet is responsible more for domestic flights while THYAO is more concerned on the international side, however, international passenger count also fell slightly by 1.3% to 5.42mn from 5.49mnç
• TAVHL: Disclsoed its August passengers served figures yesterday. Accordingly, the figure rose by 6% to 13.03mn, with international passengers served rising by 7% and domestic passengers served rose by 5%.
