Outlook:
Borsa Istanbul, which was closed for five trading days due to the earthquake disaster in Kahramanmaras witnessed a strong rise with yesterday's opening. The BIST100 Index closed the day up 9.88% with general purchases throughout the day. In addition to measures taken by the CMB and the BIST, the announcement of share repurchase decisions by many companies and the increased minimum share holding rate of state subsidy fund contribution to PPS from 10% to 30% were the main factors supporting the bourse. In line with the 10-day period given to PPS funds to comply with this limit, we expect this effect to last for a few more days. Major global stock markets ended Wednesday with gains. While risk appetite in global markets remains strong, the VIX hovers around 18, indicating that volatility in the U.S. Stock Markets has decreased, supporting the rise. U.S. and German DAX futures were trending positively this morning, while Asian Stock Markets were also bullish. In the domestic market, the VIOP-30 Index closed the evening session up 2.91%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start today with a firm rise, with the strong reactionary rise likely to continue throughout the day. SUPPORT: 4,950 - 4,820 RESISTANCE: 5,200 - 5,440.
