Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Monday on a negative trend, recovered with strong purchases and closed the day at 4,839.46, up 0.55%. Stocks with a high index weight such as TUPRS, SASA and THYAO supported the rise, while the Industrial Index gained 0.43%. The Banking Index diverged negatively, down 1.14%. Election uncertainty and the expectation that orthodox policies may be adopted post-election, as well as the rise in deposit rates, including the Currency Protected Deposit, increase selling pressure at the BIST. In light of these expectations, we think that reactionary purchases at the BIST ahead of the election will be viewed as a selling opportunity, continuing the volatility. And while concerns over the banking sector subside in global markets, the production cut decision taken by OPEC+ pressures risk appetite. The U.S. and European Stock Markets were mixed yesterday. This morning, U.S. futures were selling, German DAX futures were slightly positive and Asian Stock Markets are mixed. Domestically, the VIOP-30 Index closed the evening session up 0.27%. The benchmark Index seems set to start Tuesday with a positive trend, and despite any intraday pullbacks, the uptrend will continue as investors perceive a buying opportunity. SUPPORT: 4,790 - 4,718 RESISTANCE: 4,897 - 4,988.
