Market Watch (Şeker Yatırım)

The BIST100 Index started Monday on a positive trend, maintaining its strength to close at 10,082.77, up 1.69%. The Industrial Index rose 1.07% and the Banking Index gained 1.90%. A positive outlook across the BIST continues amid sustained rational policies and expectations of increased foreign investor activity. International Rating Agency S&P is set to publish its assessment of Turkey and increase its rating this Friday. We believe that the positive atmosphere ahead of the decision may continue. However, we expect share-based divergences determined by the ongoing 1Q results period. The quarterly results period is being followed globally, and strong balance sheets, especially from tech companies, support risk appetite. The U.S. Stock Markets ended Monday with increases, and this morning the U.S. futures and German DAX futures are on the decline, while Asian Stock Markets are mixed. We expect global risk appetite to find direction from incoming data. But there is also a touch of anticipation limiting price movements in global markets ahead of tomorrow's Fed interest rate decision. Today, CPI data will be followed in the Euro Zone. The VIOP30 Index ended the evening session up 0.04%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Tuesday positively and seek to continue its rise if intraday profit sales are met. SUPPORT: 10,000 - 9,850 RESISTANCE: 10,150 - 10,250.
