Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Wednesday flat and moved in a narrow band in the first half of the day. The Benchmark Index faced sales in the afternoon due to speculative news about the Ekrem Imamoğlu case, closing the day at 9,891.00, down 1.38%. While the Industrial Index fell 1.37%, the Banking Index diverged positively, up 0.33%. News regarding the Ekrem Imamoglu case yesterday reduced risk appetite in the country, and the Index could not hold above 10,000, and continuing its fluctuating course. We think that the BIST may remain highly sensitive to news flows given that the short-term outlook is not very strong. On the global side, a mixed trend was observed in the indices yesterday. This morning, while Asian stock markets are rising due to the incentive news from China, the U.S. futures and German DAX futures are also accompanying the rise. Although there may be occasional pullbacks, we think that the rise in major stock markets will continue as macroeconomic data supports the soft landing theme. Today, the 2nd Quarter final growth data and statements of Fed members will be followed in the USA. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.01%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Thursday flat and then continue to rise during the rest of the day if sales pressure is met by reaction purchases. SUPPORT: 9,850 - 9,750 RESISTANCE: 10,000 - 10,200.
