Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Wednesday on a negative trend, closing the day at 10,991.57, down 0.88%. While the Industrial Index lost 0.35%, the Banking Index continued to lead the sales, down 1.56%. The absence of significant short-term expectations for the BIST 100 Index, which had risen rapidly to test new peaks ahead of Moody's evaluation, causes a loss of momentum, plus profi-taking. Our medium-term positive expectations continue within the framework of continued rational policies and increased integration into global markets. Therefore, we maintain our view that pullbacks will provide buying opportunities. On the global front, weak PMI data has suppressed risk appetite. While technology balance sheets followed in the USA failed to meet expectations, sharp losses of up to 3.6% were observed, led by the Nasdaq. We think that Harris outperforming Trump in the latest election polls may have been effective in sharp sales in the indices. This morning, the U.S. futures are trading positively, while German DAX futures and Asian stock markets are trading negatively. Today, second quarter first reading growth data will be followed in the USA, and should impact risk appetite. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session down 0.26%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Wednesday flat and continue a fluctuating course thereafter. SUPPORT: 10,800 - 10,600 RESISTANCE: 11,100 - 11,250.
