Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Tuesday on a positive trend, peaked at 7,902 and closed the day at 7,771.30, down 0.33%. While the Industrial Index rose 0.48% the Banking Index lost 2.59%. The BIST, which faced profit sales yesterday after the sharp rise of the previous day, continues to see support from foreign inflows, although the gradual normalization, and negative real interest policy continue and momentum loss is experienced. We foresee periodic corrections in the Benchmark Index, which recorded a sharp rise in the post-election period. In major global stock markets while factors such as concern over the Fed's interest rate hike, which suppressed risk appetite, and weak economic developments from China persist, a more optimistic atmosphere prevails. Yesterday European and Asian Stock Markets ended the day with gains, while the U.S. Stock Markets excluding the Nasdaq decreased. This morning U.S. futures, German DAX futures and Asian Stock Markets are all on a buying trajectory. The VIX Index is trading at 17 and if it rises above 20 selling pressure in the U.S. Stock Markets may deepen. The VIOP30 Index closed the evening session up 0.25%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Wednesday on a positive trend and to continue a fluctuating course, even though an intraday uptrend is sustained. SUPPORT: 7,690 - 7,590 RESISTANCE: 7,866 - 7,920.
