Outlook:

The BIST100 Index started Thursday on a positive trend but then fluctuated, ending the day at 10,319.96, up 1.59%. The Industrial Index gained 1.64% and the Banking Index 2.70%. With expectations of increased foreign inflows remaining a catalyst for the BIST rise, the short-term outlook is recovering. According to CBRT data, last week there was a record inflow into government bonds amounting to USD 2.8bn at onc time. Expectations of greater foreign investor interest in the BIST also cause sales to remain limited. Expectations will remain priced-in, led by banking sector shares, whose direction will continue to guide the Index. We expect share-based divergences to persist during the balance sheet period. On the global front, there were limited sales in major stock markets yesterday, while the U.S. futures, German DAX futures and Asian Stock Markets continue their selling trend this morning. The VIX Index maintains its course at around 12. Global risk appetite will continue to find direction from incoming data and maintain its strength as long as interest rate cut expectations are maintained. The VIOP30 Index ended the evening session up 0.07%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Friday positively and continue its rise during in the day if profit sales are encountered. SUPPORT: 10,200 - 10,000 RESISTANCE: 10,400 - 10,500.
