Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Monday on a positive trend, going on to close at 10,055.98, down 1.59%. The Industrial Index lost 2.16% and the Banking Index lost 1.86%. With the lack of a short-term uptrend at the BIST pressuring the Index, we expect the weak, fluctuating course to continue for a while. We predict that sales will be viewed as buying opportunities as long as the transition to rational policies and foreign investor interest continues in the medium- long-term. On the global front, risk appetite follows a mixed course ahead of U.S. inflation data. In the USA, PPI figures will be followed today and CPI figures tomorrow. Yesterday, the U.S. Stock Markets were mixed and European counterparts were sellers. This morning, German DAX futures were positive, U.S. futures were mixed and Asian Stock Markets were generally positive. Global risk appetite will continue to find direction from incoming data and balance sheets. The VIOP30 Index closed the evening session up 0.13%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Tuesday flat and follow a fluctuating course thereafter. SUPPORT: 10,000 - 9,850 RESISTANCE: 10,200 - 10,300.
