Outlook:

The BIST100 Index started Tuesday on a limited positive trend, then turned downwards. The Index, which faced harsh sales pressure towards the end of the day due to the news that Iran was preparing to launch a missile attack on Israel, closed at 9,351.22, down 3.25%. While the Industrial Index lost 3.19% in value, the Banking Index decreased by 4.58%. Following Iran's missile attack last night, sharp increases were observed in oil prices, while gold prices increased due to the safe haven effect along with risk aversion. Increasing geopolitical tension also negatively affected global markets. The U.S. stock markets closed the day with sales, and European stock markets, except for the U.K., closed with losses. This morning, Asian stock markets are on a downtrend, as are the U.S. futures, while German DAX futures are flat. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session down 0.7%. Today, markets will continue to follow the news flow from the Middle East. Mounting geopolitical risk in the region, especially the rise in oil prices, may cause fluctuations in domestic and foreign markets in the short term. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Wednesday in sell-off mode and to continue its weak, fluctuating trend thereafter . UPPORT: 9,250 - 9,100 RESISTANCE: 9,450 - 9,650.
