RATIONAL POLICIES PREVAIL
" MSCI Asia is up 1.4%, mimicking the up move in global markets on Friday thanks to softer than expected US PCE figures.
" The withholding tax on FX deposits have been increased from 20% to 25% with the aim of motivating depositors to prefer TRY instead. Also, the CBRT postponed the foreign exchange notification obligation of companies using loans over 50 million until 2024. All towards rationalising the economy policies.
" The World Bank will provide $450 million in support to earthquake-affected businesses in Turkey.
" The World Bank has approved $1 billion in financing to Turkey to help restore rural housing and basic utilities in earthquake-affected areas.
" Retail prices increased by 3.46% and wholesale prices increased by 4.32% in Istanbul in June compared to the previous month. Inflation data in Turkey will be released on Wednesday. Expectation is 4.8%, annualised number is likely to remain flattish at 39.5%.
" The Fed reported that the major banks it stress-tested are well-positioned to weather a severe recession and can continue to lend to households and businesses even during a recession.
AGENDA
" Markets in the US will be open for half-day trading.
" US Treasury Secretary Yellen is expected to travel to China this week to meet with senior officials.
" Manufacturing PMI data will be announced in Türkiye and foreign markets.

" YATAS: Within the scope of transition to SAP system, it was announced that production will be suspended in Ankara and Kayseri between 3 and 9 July.
" BIMAS: 300,000 shares were sold by Haluk Dortluoglu at a price of 170.18 TL, he no longer have any shares in the company.
