well as breaching the staunch 8000 level, trading volume was also over the TRY 100bn level at TRY 105.2bn,
diverging positively from its European peers.
The gains among the Aviation, Service and Banks were considerably greater than their peers, as the Industrials,
Energy and REITs underperformed the benchmark quite considerably.
ODAS-THYAO and ASELS were the most bought blue-chip stocks, whereas ALARK-TOASO and SAHOL, due to
profit-takings, were yesterday’s most sold. We also observed the Iron & Steel stocks perform considerably well,

The FOMC Minutes from the Oct31-Nov 1 meeting showed the officials expressed little appetite for cutting
interest rates anytime soon, as inflation remains well above their goal. The Minutes showed that the members
were still worried that inflation could be stubborn or move higher, and that more may need to be done. “In
discussing the policy outlook, participants continued to judge that it was critical that the stance of monetary
policy be kept sufficiently restrictive to return inflation to the Committee’s 2 percent objective over time,” the
minutes stated.”
EBRD president disclosed that their investments in Turkey may exceed $2.4bn.
