" The BIST managed to expand on Monday's gains by a further 1.05% and renewing its record-closing level and historic peak at 8869 and 8891, respectively, with a hefty appetite of TRY 125.5bn. The gains at the BIST were mainly event driven catalysts.
" The Energy stocks were yesterday's best performing main sector, rising by nearly 2%, whereas except for the Transportation and REITs, underperforming the benchmark, the gains were fairly uniform across the broad, with the Telco diverging negatively from their peers.
" On the BIST30 side, PETKM (speculation of its port sale)-ALARK and EKGYO (Urbanization and new home developments on the 1st anniversary of the February 6th earthquake) were the most bought stocks, as opposed to TCELL-GUBRF and KOZAL. VESTL and VESBE closed limit-up thanks to winning their anti-competition file suit in the Netherlands.
" As of print, the TRY is trading a tad weaker against the USD at 30.57, but weaker against the Euro at 32.93 against the Euro, while the DXY is lower this morning at 104.12.
" On the Bonds' front, the 2yr and 10yr rates fell by 12bps and 62bps to 43.02% and 26.84%, respectively.
" On the Commodity front, Brent has fallen to 78.55, and the overhang on Ounce Gold from last week is still lingering, trading lower this morning at $2033.
" Fed Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Loretta Mester stated yesterday that she is open to rate cuts if it's clear that inflation is easing further, but not offering any timing on the matter, while Fed Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Neel Kashkari supported the general sentiment of his peers that they can take their time in cutting interest rates.
" Türkiye's November REER figure rose to 55.90 from the revised September reading of 55.52.

" The Treasury Cash Balance will be release on the domestic side, while the US will release its Foreign Trade Balance, and Germany will disclose its Industrial Production figures.

" VAKBN: Disclosed a 4Q24 NI of TRY 10.02bn and annual NI of TRY 25.05bn, vs the Market Mean TRY 10.17bn and TRY 25.19bn, respectively, a rise of 5% q/q and 19% y/y basis. NII fell by 29% y/y to TRY 52mn, and F&C was TRY 25.7bn.
" ANHYT: Disclosed a 4Q24 NI of TRY 10.2bn in-line with the Mean TRY 10bn, and annually TRY 25bn, an increase of 4.3% y/y.
" SUWEN: Disclose its 2024 guidance. Accordingly, the clothing retailer expects consolidated net sales to be TRY 4bn +/- 3%, representing a growth rate over 90%, EBITDA margin between 30.8%-31.5%, Debt/EBITDA between 0.10x-0.20x, and CAPEX of 5-6% of consolidated sales.
" KAREL: Disclosed that it signed a 2yr agreement worth $24.1mn IP Central System with a public client.
