Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Thursday on a positive trend and continued this course throughout the day. The Benchmark Index closed at the day's peak of 9,079.97, up 3.10%. The Banking Index rose 4.25% and the Industrial Index gained 2.01%. While reactionary purchases were observed in the BIST100 Index after its four-day decline, expectations that foreign investor interest would increase after the election also supported the BIST. We think that a volatile trend may occur on the last trading day ahead of the local elections. While short-term risks to the BIST continue, the medium-term rising trend is maintained in line with our expectation that declines will present buying opportunities. In global markets, risk appetite remains strong. Yesterday, major stock markets closed trading with increases. Today, the U.S., European and certain Asian Stock Markets are closed for Good Friday. There is a positive trend among open Asian Stock Markets. As long as expectations regarding the global loosening process remain, the rising trend in major stock markets will continue and sales will be limited. Today, markets will follow core personal consumption expenditures data from the USA, which is considered an inflation indicator. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.13%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Friday with a positive trend and attempt to continue its upward movement despite any intraday profit-taking. SUPPORT: 9,000 - 8,900 RESISTANCE: 9,250 - 9,400.
