Outlook:

BIST100 Index, which started Friday with sales, closed at 9,685.49 on a rise of 1.73%. The Industrial Index and Banking Index rose by 2.93% and 0.03%, respectively. On a weekly basis, the BIST100 and Industrial Index fell by 0.88% and 0.46%, respectively, while the Banking Index declined by 3.13%. In the short term, pressure on the BIST continues amid negative factors such as weak profits and a high interest rate environment. Weakening earnings expectations for the 3rd quarter given the latest economic data also increases that pressure. In the short term, the technical and fundamental outlook indicates that the volatile course may continue for a while yet. We expect caution to remain over leveraged and credit transactions. On the global front US CPI data was announced at 2.5%, the lowest level in three years, in line with expectations. In line with the declining inflation data, rate cut expectations have supported the stock markets. Meanwhile, the ECB interest rate cut of 25 basis points marked its second consecutive cut. Major stock markets gained 2% on average last week. This morning, German DAX futures are trading higher while US futures and Asian stock markets are mixed. In Turkey, the VIOP30 Index ended the Friday evening session with a 0.21% decline. We expect the Benchmark Index, likely to start the day flattish, to display in an upward effort if intraday sales are met. Supports: 9.500 - 9.420 Resistance: 9.750 - 9.840
